چکیده
Objective: A complex metabolic condition known as diabetes mellitus is caused by either inadequate or dysfunctional insulin. Once more, medicinal plants are being researched for the treatment of diabetes. Prototypical compounds found in have been source many conventional medications. The part our investigation was to test phytoconstituents Manilkara hexandra antidiabetic efficacy, in-silico. Methods: pattern interaction between from (Roxb.) Dubard, plant and crystal structure proteins evaluated using molecular docking Discovery Studio (PDB ID: 4LY9). Later, SwissADME pkCSM were used screen toxicity well pharmacokinetic profile. Results: docked results suggest that quercetin (-9.3 kcal/mol), kaempferol (-9.1 p-coumaric acid (-6.4 kcal/mol) cinnamic (-6.3 4LY9 macromolecule has best binding towards activity compared standard drug metformin (-5.0 kcal/mol). According ADMET tests, pharmacokinetics characteristics also within acceptable bounds. Conclusion: Results potential aimed at encouraging. It promotes usage offers crucial details on pharmaceutical research clinical care.

Glucokinase and glucokinase regulatory protein: mutual dependence for nuclear localization.
Conditional expression of the glucokinase regulatory protein in insulinoma cells, under control of the reverse tetracycline-dependent transactivator, was used to investigate whether expression of this protein de novo would alter the intracellular distribution of glucokinase. The regulatory protein, which was undetectable in the basal state, could be induced by doxycycline to levels comparable t...
متن کاملIn silico investigation of lactoferrin protein characterizations for the prediction of anti-microbial properties
Lactoferrin (Lf) is an iron-binding multi-functional glycoprotein which has numerous physiological functions such as iron transportation, anti-microbial activity and immune response. In this study, different in silico approaches were exploited to investigate Lf protein properties in a number of mammalian species. Results showed that the iron-binding site, DNA and RNA-binding sites, signal pepti...
متن کاملPhysiological changes in relation to growth and ripening of khirni [Manilkara hexandra (Roxb.) Dubard] fruit
– Introduction. Fruit ripening is the process resulting in changes in color, taste and texture, which make the fruit acceptable for consumption. Since a wide spectrum of physiological, biochemical and organoleptic changes are involved in the development of a soft, edible, ripe fruit, we studied theses changes in an underutilized fruit, khirni [Manilkara hexandra (Roxb.) Dubard]. Materials and m...

Objective(s):This study aims at exploring cytotoxic activity of different peptides derived from VSVG protein against MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cell lines and human embryonic kidney normal cell (HEK 293). Materials and Methods: The ANTICP web server was used to predict anticancer peptides. The cytotoxic activity of peptides with high score (P26, P7) and low score (P19) was examined b...
متن کاملMolecular basis for the role of glucokinase regulatory protein as the allosteric switch for glucokinase.
Glucokinase (GK) is a monomeric allosteric enzyme and plays a pivotal role in blood glucose homeostasis. GK is regulated by GK regulatory protein (GKRP), and indirectly by allosteric effectors of GKRP. Despite the critical roles of GK and GKRP, the molecular basis for the allosteric regulation mechanism of GK by GKRP remains unclear. We determined the crystal structure of Xenopus GK and GKRP co...
